Buckle up, let's break it down. 💡 💼 As Resource Providers, when you commit resources to our system, you not only earn a base reward based on your contribution and performance, but also get incentivized via yield on your locked rewards! 🔒 💵 The storage price? It's calculated on a basis of $ per GB per month. For a frame of reference, AWS charges around $0.022 per GB per month. 👛 A part of your subscription cost goes towards a marketplace transaction fee. This fee is deducted when you, our dear customer, make a payment and when our Resource Providers withdraw their rewards. 📚 Subscription costs paid by you are used to form a token pool. Resource Providers can “reserve” portions of this pool by committing storage to the network. 🔄 While the rewards are locked, the tokens earn yield as liquidity via protocols like genius yield. The APY? It'll fluctuate depending on transaction volume and the efficiency of liquidity provision. 🎁 As a Resource Provider, you're eligible for the base rewards, excluding an outgoing fee to Iagon. The yield generated by the base reward gets divided between you, the provider, IAG stakers and Iagon. 🚀 As a Resource Provider, you can increase your earnings in two ways. First, provide more storage. Second, stake more IAG. The yield not taken up by the RPs is divided between Iagon and IAG stakers. Now, let's put some numbers on these words: - Storage price per GB per month: $0.008 - Marketplace transaction fee: 10% - Genius yield APY: 12% - Average resource provider yield %: 10% - Remaining yield going to Iagon: 50% This leads to monthly figures of: - Transaction fees from customer payments: $35.200 - Transaction fees from resource providers: $32.060 - Iagon’s percentage of remaining yield: $17.107 - Total iagon in per month: $84.367 Assuming 50% of the circulating supply (100.000.000) is staked, an IAG staker with 100.000 IAG (0.5% of total staked supply) would earn $410 per year from this yield mechanic and distribution! 📈 Join us as we redefine decentralized storage and staking!
